The dog and deer friendship, from National Geographic

In Courtney Canada, Kate the Great Dane finds an unexpected friend! Kate's owner found the hungry, orphaned fawn near her house. She brought her inside to care for her and when Kate the dog saw the deer they knew they would be best friends forever!!!! Kate's owner called her Pippin. The dog and the deer would spend the day play fighting and running after a toy ball. They cuddle and they chase each other around. One time they even chased a black bear!!!!!!!   Pippin joined a wild deer herd but still payed daily visits to Kate!
