Bats!

I have been pretty interested in bats since the time a bat got into my cousins house! It flew all around!

Bats are the only flying mammals. You may think flying squirrels fly, but they glide. The bats forelimbs form wings that are very different from birds. Bats have bad eyesight. When bats fly they use their big ears help them locate and avoid objects. Bats let out a sound that is way to high pitched for us to hear, and the sound is echoed back as a radar beam. The sound is picked up by their sensitive ears and the echo identifies the direction and distance of the objects, this helps them hunt for food. Some large bats eat fruit, and Vampire Bats of South and Central America drink blood.
Bats are very interesting and I hope you think so too! If you have any questions or suggestions write a comment and I will reply shortly.
