The komodo dragon is also known as the komodo monitor. It lives in the Indonesion Islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gill Montang, and Padar. The komodo dragon is a carnivore and usually eats dead animals, but it prefers the animals rotted before eating,that is why they wait till their food is dead to eat. Its one of the most dangerous reptile in the world. Its bite is posionous, but not because of venom, because of the bacteria that lives in the reptile's body. The komodo dragon's tongue is usually purple. The bacteria in the komodo dragon is extremly dangerous that's what the komodo dragon gives when it bites.
