Fascinating Bird Events

The Great Horned Owl was close enough so our binoculars could see the FASCINATING bird. He stood next to a huge tree looking small, yet powerful with its sharp talons and his head, that swiveled around seeking out small rodents. Occasionally, he turned to look at us, but without a care in the world. He didn't seem the least bit nervous of all the people watching his every move. All of a sudden, his huge downy wings spread out and he lifted himself up in the air and flew off. I still remember the power and strength those wings carried through the night.
-Bluebirds are beautiful! Their blue backs and orange bellies are an amazing sight to see when they are in the air, flapping their wings and going to find food for the family. One amazing night we were peeking in the birdhouse and inside were three beautiful baby birds opening their mouths waiting to be fed. It was adorable and truly FASCINATING!!!!! First, they would open their mouths wide, expecting food to be dropped in, then they would put their heads back down on each other and sleep until they wanted food again! It was amazing!!
Birds truly are FASCINATING creatures and deserve to be respected. In the comments box, feel free to tell about some of your fascinating bird events. I mean, how many times will you be able to see baby birds learn to fly? I have, but have you? These stories deserve to be shared!
