Kangaroos



Kangaroos are a part of the marsupial group. They are found in Austraillia, Tasmania, and New Guinea. They have powerful hind legs made for hopping and leaping. They have long muscular tails. The hind legs are also to kick and give good blows during a kangaroo fight, the kangaroo stands on its long tail during a fight. The baby kangaroo is called a Joey. It takes about six months for the baby to be born. Kangaroos feed on grass and other vegetation.
