The emperor penguin is the largest penguin of the penguin family. Their size is 1.2m [4 feet] tall. They live by the ocean on packs of ice.
The female lays 1 egg and then returns to the sea. These penguins never actually go on land they almost always stay on packs of ice. The male holds the egg between his feet and it is covered by a flap of skin and feathers. The males hurtle together while their mate is gone catching fish to keep warm. When the chick is born the father watches it until the mom gets back. When the mom gets back she feeds it by pukeing in its mouth. They then both take care of the chick.
Those baby penguins are cute. I liked the movie Happy Feet because of the music and the dancing.
