Coatis

Coatis are mammals that live in South America, Central America, and south western North America. They are related to raccoons and the aardvark. Adult coatis can grow to 33 cm to 69 cm from head to tail. Their tail can be as long as their bodies. Coatis are about 30 cm tall to the shoulder, and weigh between 2 and 8 kg. Males can soon become almost twice as large as females and have very large teeth. Coatis are fascinating animals and I hope you do too!
