Okapie

The okapie's full name is the Okapia. It is part giraffe, horse, and zebra. It lives in the rainforest, located in Northeast of The Democratic Republic of the Congo, in central Africa. The okapie is most closly related to the giraffe. This animal became a hit to the media in 1921. There are 10,000 to 20,00 in the wild, and there are 42 different kinds of them. They are nice, friendly animals, that get along well with other animals.
